Where to find overnight funding charges on FX pairs

Turning on FX swap bid/offer When trading currency pairs, if a position is held through 10pm GMT, it will incur an overnight funding charge. This charge is based on the interest rate differential between the two currencies in the pair, where you receive interest in the currency you buy and pay interest on the currency you sell. View 'Percentage' scale on IG charts

Hey all. On the back of client feedback our charting team have just delivered a new feature on mobile and desktop. You can now quickly and easily see the percentage movement on any given period for any market. This is accessible from the 'Other Options' drop down, or by right clicking on the chart, and selecting 'Percentage' from the 'Scale' option. Keyboard shortcuts for chart intervals (and future crosshair data)

If you like to change between different intervals on the IG desktop charts (from 1 minute candlesticks to 5 or 10 minute candles, or to hours, days or months) then we've just made it easier with keyboard shortcuts. Customise Stochastic and KDJ indicators on charts

On the back of recent client feedback you can now customise the Stochastic and KDJ indicator levels on IG charts. Once you have added either of these indicators (which you can do by right clicking > indicator > stochastic) simply click the label in the bottom left of the chart and the option window will appear. You should be able to amend the Overbought and Oversold levels here along with some other variable to customise further.

Bouhmidi Bands Indicator

Introduction of the Bouhmidi Bands The bouhmidi bands ® were developed by Salah-Eddine Bouhmidi and are based on implied volatility. They calculate an expected daily bandwidth under the assumption of normally distributed returns. The bandwidth is based on 1σ or 2σ. This means that an underlying closes with a probability of 68% or 95% within the expected Bouhmidi bandwidth at the end of the day. Historical data over the past 20 years shows a strong robustness of the indicator.
