I have had short positions on FTSE and have had a number of debit dividend adjustments without a corresponding credit entry. Can this be looked at?

Hey, 

If you watch the video in the blog above you will see how dividend adjustments work. When a dividend adjustment is made the price of that market, in this case the FTSE, jumps down. We have to debit short clients that amount because the position unfairly moved in their favour. If we didn't make those adjustments traders would short the index just before the dividend adjustment and unfairly gain.
