Hello friendly people,
I didn't phone support as I'm only on a demo account but I just had an occurrence which seriously makes me question whether to use IG as my real broker. I had three open short positions on the spreadbetting web platform on the US500 index. It's during market hours and the market wasn't moving quickly. Tried to close all positions simultaneously for a profit and kept getting a message "there was an unexpected error, please call...". Eventually I was able to close the positions, but at less profit than I originally wanted to close them for. Any idea what was going on? It seems to me to be a BIG problem if you're unable to close open positions as soon as you want to.
