MT4 lot sizes and instruments available

Casino_Capitalist

Question

I am considering moving to the IG MT4 platform because the browser based platform does not allow me to trade sizes small enough to effectively manage risk on my account.
I have just downloaded the demo platform to check it out now and it seems only FX pairs are available to trade.

I mostly trade commodities and indices using both Spot and Futures markets. I was hoping someone could share with me the full list of tradeable symbols on MT4 (preferrably with screenshots) because I am not able to find it anywhere in IG's material.

Also, does MT4 allow you to trade Futures as the browser platform does?

Thanks,

CC

Hi, right click on Marketwatch and click 'Show all' (see pic)

Futures not available on mt4.

There looks to be a problem with your data feed, as per the pic below you should have the base currency tag (£) next to the instrument.

see the IG mt4 download page. Also check the feed from IG, mt4  File > Open an account and you should see the IG data feeds.
