Is this a Fraud?! Joined today and already thinking to leave!

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I am fuming. I Joined today to find out I was robbed of nearly  1/3 of my account by commissions on a couple of trades where I lost a few euros!

I deposited €300 today, see below what is left of €300 after €1.55 of loss?!

Running profit / loss:
€-1.55
Funds:
€173.41   where is all the rest?!!   Are you actually joking that it all went into commissions?

I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

This is fraud and I will report it, and share my experience online on all platforms if I don't receive a refund ASAP!.

Thanks for your post.

On a CFD/ Share dealing account you are charged commission for shares/ Proshares when you buy and sell.

If this was your first trades and you weren't aware I would advise you to reach out to our help desk to see what you can do. helpdesk.uk@ig.com.

All the best

I had somewhat similar scenario but dormant account for a period for personal reasons. They kept imposing fees.

Help desk were not very helpful and each time new trainee replying my email, Promised some refund perhaps to shut the client off.

Refund never materialised after a promise. Given up and fed up. I would say they lack in ethics.
