Hi

Thanks for the suggestion, it's a good idea. Where would you like this column to sit, in Positions? Would this comment then carry across to your trade history once it's closed? Or would it be located somewhere else?

Anton.

It would be good to have the notes available where ever the instrument/market is located. So for instance, it should be available in Watchlists and Positions. The notes should then stay with that instrument even when it is no longer in a watchlist or Position.

this enables you to have short notes for a current position (setup, entry, exit etc). Later when you have closed that position and looking at the same instrument a number of months later you have some history right there in the platform.

It would be handy to have a notes colomn in the open positions screen - I would personally like to take a note on why the trade was taken (setup/reason).  Regards, Michiel

Anton,

I see it as being a data attribute to a line of stock, so whether in a List, Watchlist or Open Position would carry through and persist unless amended or removed. It can be very useful to make a note outside of the graph, I do this a lot. Positions is a sensible place for it as can help investors to set out themselves why they bought and their rules for exiting or taking profits.

Hi I am a first post newby to IG. My last supplier had note availability across the board and it was quite useful. A decent sticky note facility on my watchlists would be good. Only been here two days and I miss it already. Do IG have a route for getting change or do we just gripe a lot on the discussion boards?
