Question

today I lost at open on hood all due to massive widening of margin . the candle show me I was in money on 1 minute and 10 second candles. but  my position was showing  red

45.5  my position  it hit 45.9 and I was in red ?? why the margin widens so much???  i had no chance at any point to cash out even for break even

Hi @amilio,

The margin requirements for Robinhood is 25% ,  as the price level change the margin requirement change accordingly to keep your position open but the requirements stay the same.

Could you please send you account details and deal details to helpdesk.uk@ig.com. The helpdesk will be able to investigate and come back to your with a clear answer.

All the best - Arvin
