Stop loss Share Trading platform

Hey wondering if someone can explain how to put stop loss levels in the IG share trading platform. I can not for the life on me figure it out.... I have two open positions, but really need to figure out the stop loss before I load more into my portfolio.

Hi @Kudat 

Thanks for the question

Please note that the stop loss feature is an OTC product and is thus unavailable to share dealing accounts, where orders go directly through the exchange. You can however place a Stop order GTC to sell at your desired price. I hope this helps!

Hi Kudat

Search for the share that you are holding, then click on it. From the deal ticket click on Sell. Then add the quantity of shares that you hold. Then order type would be stop, stop level is the price you want to sell at, expiry is good till cancelled. Deal ticket looks like the below screenshot but sell would be highlighted red.
