A growing number of investors now prefer investing in cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) over shares, a new survey has shown.

What Happened: The survey by CivicScience showed that while 76% of the respondents surveyed said they were more likely to invest in traditional stocks, 24% of them preferred investing in cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) and Dogecoin (CRYPTO: DOGE).

The percentage of investors who favour investing in cryptocurrencies over stocks has surged from 10% in June this year to 24% in November, while those who prefer investing in stocks has dropped from 90% to 76% over the same period.

Slightly misleading as the survey actually asked: "If you had the means and ability to invest your money in an asset, would you be more likely to invest in traditional stocks or cryptocurrencies".

The actual figure was 7%, i.e. 7% have sold stocks or bonds to buy crypto (which to mean is surprisingly high):

What it all means though is more pain ahead when the crytpo bubble/ponzi collapses and all these investors will wish they had left their money in stocks!

Hi @Provaton

Thanks for sharing. The article below did mention the following with an interesting survey from Cardify:

Investors who are bullish on cryptocurrencies are betting more on the digital assets than stocks.

In September, crypto investors put an average of $263 into accounts dedicated to coins, more than the average $250 they put in traditional brokerages during the month, according to a recent survey from Cardify.

    • Does anyone else know any other SB providers that you can use to trade through TV?  I've only so far seen CFD providers which doesn't work for me due to tax reasons (mainly the hassle of having to account for it as well as the obvious cost).
    • Is there any update on when/if there will be any integration with Tradingview???
    • The anonymity of cryptocurrency transactions can vary depending on the specific cryptocurrency you use and the methods you use. While some cryptocurrencies provide a degree of privacy and anonymity, it is important to note that achieving complete anonymity can be difficult. Most cryptocurrencies operate on a pseudonymous basis. Transactions are recorded in a public ledger, called a blockchain, using cryptographic addresses instead of personal information. However, these addresses are usually not directly linked to a real identity, unless someone voluntarily discloses this information. Some cryptocurrencies, such as Monero (XMR) and Zcash (ZEC), are specifically designed to increase privacy and anonymity. I read on https://deeplab.com/darkweb/anonymous-sudan-launches-cyberattacks-on-middle-eastern-news-outlets-expands-target-list-with-four-additional-names that some people use this anonymity as a cyber attack.
