I've been spread betting now since june (almost 8 months) and keep a balance of £15,000 to trade with.  I'm currently up by 41%. I think it's good (although it has been a big rollercoaster ride including some big losses),  just wondering how I'm doing in relation to some of you seasoned traders ?. I don't know anyone else who spread bets to compare with. All feedback will be appreciated

Thanks

Sorry for the delay in replying,  been busy at my real job 🤣. I don't have a particular system for trading. Just if I think something is punching above it's weight I'll short it, likewise if something is performing below par.  But generally have to lay down a chasing trade if it goes too far wrong, (damage limitations). As for stop losses,  I guess I'm a bit wreckless and don't use them,  have done in the past and and got stopped out overnight 🤬🤬. I also use simple 'line' charts, no candle sticks,  nothing fancy. rsi just seemed to cost me every time so stopped using g that aswell.  I think it can get all too complicated,  keep it simple 👍🏻👍🏻

Hi @Marttrader

Thanks for sharing. Up 41% that is great!

What type of trader are you? Scalper, day trader, swing trader, position trader, algorithmic trader or event-driven trader ?

I'm mainly a scalper,  day trader, swing trader (guess that means waiting for big movement then going others way)🤷🏻‍♂️. This is my main watch list, as you see it's been a proper rollercoaster (I like to call it a learning curve)🤣🤣🤣💸💸💸
