Intel announces $88bln in EU capex

Recommended Posts

In a move designed to combat the continuing shortfall in semiconductor manufacture, Intel (INTC) has announced a massive $88 billion in capital expenditure across the European Union.

As IGTV’s Jeremy Naylor explains $33bln will be invested immediately, with $55bln coming over the next ten years.

This comes on the back of a €45 package of state aid as Europe injects funds to help the flagging European markets from stagnating.
