Barclays shares tumble to near Monday’s surprise share sale

Recommended Posts

An unnamed shareholder in Barclays Bank has sold around 3% of the lenders’ stock at 150p per share, a deeply discounted 6% to Monday’s closing price.

The surprise sale was for 575 million shares and saw stock in the company close to the sale level dip in the session today.

IGTV’s Jeremy Naylor looks at the chart. He says Reuters reports that there are just two shareholders that owned 3%: Qatar Investment Authority and Blackrock. Neither confirmed the share sale.
