In its first deceleration in 8-months, USD rises on better-than-expected US CPI

Despite a deceleration in UK consumer inflation, the dollar has seen an immediate rise in value as the number was slightly stronger than expected.

IGTV’s Jeremy Naylor says while the number has pushed up the dollar, equity markets, the S&P 500 in particular, is knocking on the door of 14-month lows.
