PRT scans are flaky after Xmas

fxlapt

Question

I have many PRT Proscreen scans that have run successfully for a long time, but many have been returning false resuls since 28th December 2022.

If you run them after the ASX's close, the data is wrong, or you might get no results, or it will tell you at the bottom of the Proscreener window there are X results returned, but none are displayed. Then when you run them again 12 hours later the next morning, they run correctly. It is as if the servers reset overnight. Then the corruption happens again the next day some time.

For example yesterday on 29 Dec, my yearly lows scans returned 499 results which is an absurd amount, and a check confirmed the results were not correct.  Next  morning on 30 Dec, the scan returned 34 results (correct)

Whys is this data corruption occurring, in the Default Workspace , and my other workspaces? I cannot trust PRT at the moment.

Hi @fxlapt,

I had a look at the last ticket you submitted for this problem. ProRealTime replied at 8:00 this morning saying that they identified and fixed the error.

Please test it again and let us (chartsupport@marketdatasystems.com) know if you still encounter the same issue. It would also help a lot if you can specify the name of the screener you used to run the test.

You can also use this (13143) reference number when contacting the address above if you you want to follow up on the progress.

All the best!

Yes, this afternoon, adter ASX close, the screeners are all working correctly again for the first time since Dec 23rd.

Its also quite interesting that when you submit a ticket thru PRT, depsite advice to the contrary you never get any follow up to your bug reports. I must have submitted 20 - 30 in my time by now....and you never hear anyhting, so you dont even know wehther they have been looked at. A Very poor system imo.
