Is it possible to use the IG Labs API to access data from my IG Smart Portfolio?

Recommended Posts

I am researching investing and came across IG Smart Portfolios.

I am looking for an investment service that allows me to access my position via an API, as I am a programmer and have made my own Finance app to suit my needs.

I noticed IG have APIs— a Trading API and a Streaming API (https://labs.ig.com)

Would I be able to use these to access details of my IG Smart Portfolio?

Thanks, Dave

Hi @daviestar

Thank you for reaching out. The WebAPI can only be accessed on leverage accounts like the CFD account and not non-leverage accounts. All the best, OfentseIG

Our analysis suggests the current decline in the market is corrective and could turn into a full five-wave impulse move, leading to a deeper drop. Keep a close eye on the USD DXY as the Federal Reserve's meeting on Wednesday may impact the market.
