The code and name for Standard Life Aberdeen PLC are both wrong on the IG platform and PRT on DFB.

The name is showing as Standard Life PLC and the code SL.

The correct data is Standard Life Aberdeen PLC with code SLA as the company merged last week.

Please fix asap hopefully within 24 hours....especially PRT which often seems slow to have errors fixed.

Thank you in advance

Hi  - some areas on the IG offering (such as PRT and the new web trading platform) will take up to 24 hours to pull through the display data on a daily sweep. Please rest assured that this change has been made and is purely a display aspect on the asset name. For this reason it wouldn't effect the functionality, back end system, pricing or dealing aspect for any accounts.

Thanks

James

24 hours later and PRT is still wrong.

A similar error existed on PRT a couple of weeks ago.  It took 6 phone calls and 2 weeks for the error to be fixed.

Hopefully this one will be fixed much sooner.

Thank you for your assistance.

James thank you for your assistance.

The correct company name now appears on PRT i.e. Standard Life Aberdeen PLC but the code is still wrong as it shows SL instead of SLA.

Hopefully this can be fixed shortly.

Hi  Apologies about the kerfuffle on this. We made the appropriate changed on our side when you first brought this to our attention, however it seems like this hasn't pulled through to the full PRT offering. This hasn't been an issue on a couple of other stocks we've changed recently, so we are just trying to isolate why this has happened here.

We have raised a ticket with IT Finance, the company who own Pro Real Time, and I shall get back to you as soon as I have an answer.

    • With Bitcoin aiming for a new ATH, this staking might be the best option to maximum holding
    • Tbh, trading can be frustrating, I keep trying different strategy to perfect my trading skill but all seems to be in vain. Recently, I learnt we can use AI to predict the market to trade, so I decide to start asking AI to analyze when btc is overbought so I can look for short entry but this seems not to work against as most trade I enter end up hitting my SL. I know this is part of the learning process so I don’t risk too much but it hurt to lose fund especially when you are trying your best to make your first positive trade. Sometime, I just feel the market is totally against me and that further discourages me from futures trading. Recently, I got introduced to BTC staking on some platforms like BGBTC on bitget, Babylon chain, Solv protocol, Coredao etc but that doesn’t quench my hunger to understand BTC volatility since I will just stake my btc and earn apr. I want to understand how this volatility works so I can start making something from futures trading rather than just staking to earn apr. Also, I feel staking is for spot traders that intend to hold for a longer period and that doesn’t expose you to the market. I am not like most trader that prioritize profit over knowledge even when that is the final goal.
