I'm not sure if I'm going blind or not but I can't seem to find share options on my platform. I can find them for indices, fired etc but none for shares.

Where are they hiding???

hi  - we currently do not offer share options on the platform, however if you wanted to give us a call we can deal over the phone for you. Once booked on your account you'd see the open position profit / loss, but you'd also need to phone deal to close. This is because of the vast number of different stocks, strikes, and expiry's which would require considerable dev work, however unfortunately there is insufficient client demand to justify it.

    • *parp!*  Ooh what's that smell!
    • Using Spread bet is not suitable for scalping in my view , you get filled and exit at a poor price and its hard to cover a spread. Depends on what your definition of a 'scalp'  is though   Share dealing is  a lot better for US stocks (no fees) but you need the capital and can only go long.
    • The point Rayner was making is if you only have a five point target and your win rate is not very high it is probably not a viable strategy.
