2FA NOTIFICATION NOT SENT TO AUTHENTICATOR

Trying to set up 2FA. No notification has been received by Microsoft Authenticator. Can't do anything until it arrives. Is there some sought of issue with IG notifying  MS Authenticator?

Thank you for your post.

We are currently not aware of any issue affecting 2FA. Please ensure that you have followed the correct steps to set up 2FA which include:

1. Downloading your chosen authenticator app (MS, Authy or Google)

2. Log in to your IG app and go to Account > Security.

3. Tap to enable 2FA, a key will be generated which will need to be copied to your selected authenticator app

4. After pasting the key to the authentication app, an authentication code will be generated and will need to be entered back into the IG app to verify.

5. After entering, a confirmation will show that 2FA has been enabled.
