How do I edit and delete watchlists?

Hi

I am using a Desktop Mac with Google Chrome, not sure if that makes any difference.

On the platform, it is easy to create a new watchlist but I can't figure out how to delete one.

Also how to delete a stock etc from a given watchlist.

Any help on this matter would be appreciated.

Hi .  You can't for the any of the IG watchlists but there should be no problem deleting any watchlist or components of any watchlist you have created by hovering over and right clicking for menu option box.

On the New web trading platform you can delete your watch list by right clicking and selecting 'delete watchlist'. You can remove an individual line by right clicking > delete. 

 

 

On the 'classic' platform you can delete the watchlist by using the 'bin' button in the finder.

 

 

You will however be unable to delete the default watchlists from IG, and also at least one personal watchlist (as shown above named 'Primary' in the finder). You can also remove each individual option via the drop down > remove button.

Yes, it does make a difference on the Mac because the Mac mouse has no right click button.

I will try your suggestions on my windows laptop.

Also the Mac does not give you the option of the Classic Platform anymore, as far as I can tell.

I do love my Mac but there are negatives with them.

  no, that's not your mac, the classic platform is being slowly phased out by IG. Is there not another function key that serves as a right click?

Thanks for the help. I deleted the portfolios on my Windows laptop.

It was so easy. Mac is still not fully compatible with some sites.
