ISA search engine suggestions

ZD

Question

Evening peeps.

I have an ISA account with IG. When searching, the search engine yields results which are not eligible for ISA tax wrapper. This can be quite annoying especially after transferring funds into my ISA account to realise I cannot buy the shares listed.

For example,

Velocity Shares 3x Long Gold ETN

Velocity Shares 3x Long Silver ETN

Is it possible just to include ISA eligible results in the ISA search engine?

Cheers!

Hi - unfortunately this is unlikely to be implemented on the older web trading platform, however you can use the ETF screener below which maybe useful. http://etfscreener.ig.com

We are looking at rolling out a new web trading platform for the share dealing offering and I shall make sure I submit this feedback directly to the project manager in charge of this roll out. Thanks for your feedback and if there are any other things you'd like to see please feel free to let me know.

    • Market data to trade on Wednesday: TSLA, IBM, ASML earnings; GBP/USD Earnings continue to dominate as traders await numbers from Metro Bank in the UK, ASML in Europe and IBM and Tesla in the US. Also watch inflation data in the UK which may seal the deal for the BoE to raise rates on 4 November. https://www.ig.com/uk/market-insight-articles/market-data-to-trade-on-wednesday--tsla--ibm--asml-earnings--gbp-211019
    • Hi @THT and @skyreach, Thanks for sharing your views on the BoE upcoming event. Just to add, Mike Riddell, a senior portfolio manager at Allianz Global Investors said “There is a lot of history that suggests bad things happen soon after yield curves start to invert, and that’s what is now priced at the front end of the UK rates curve.”   The big question from the markets now is the BoE about to make a policy mistake ? As investors are worrying over potential BoE rates mistake.   All the best - MongiIG
