JESS ........TWO BARKS FOR BUY     ONE BARK FOR SELL   ???

That is the 50% retrace for  the Dow and S&P.

It's the opposite, I don't think I'm cut out for day trading.  I still would have been better off keeping a position open from Christmas, even now.  I zoomed out to the day chart and the overall pictu

US increases stimulus

Could be doing with some stimulus myself ...

I take it this 'stimulus' is going to be tax cuts for the rich and bailouts for the darlings of Wall Street...

more turning Japanese, next Fed mtg is next Wednesday.

Markets less flamboyant this morning, looking more like the old fashion steady grind.

Haha oh dear ... bad news for impatient and compulsive people ... 🙄

the last few days on twitter IG was warning new traders wanting to join in the fun about risk man. I got the impression that with the 100 point 1 min candles flying around, constant slippage and routine limit up/downs that new traders where having their entire accounts wiped out on a routine basis.

Is this the definition of socialism for the rich?

Reminder about #limitup, this is a CME SEC ruling. when the market hits a certain level : 5% in OOH, further buying is halted, you can still add/remove/edit any stops, limits or working orders on all positions so long as they comply with the current minimum distances.

So its halted for the day?? So the us500 resumes on monday trading session? Also Is there anyway to close this position?

no just 15 minutes into US session open today (1:30pm UK time) but it's going to open with a hefty gap up as things stand.

Are people starting to get more worried as we have reached the level I predicted? We are not there yet. More long positions to clear out.

@cheviot What does your dog say on this one?

I was buying D J late last night around 20600 as I believe that it has done a 1.618% correction of the up trend.....Going back to my posts in january.....I believed  all that buying in January /Feb up to 29500 was the B wave......It is ALL related to the Jan 2018 reaction high,   THAT was the TRUE high.  What we have had (despite being totally real ) was actually an A  B   C   correction to the 2008 bull run.   I think we are finishing wave C of that correction.....being 1.618 x as long as the A wave that took us there.

I m exhausted.  i ve been trading at midnight and 5.30 am for the last few days.....Been stopped out a few times trying to find the bottom of this , but my calculations were the correction should stop at DJ 20670  (hit 20400)  and FTSE 5170...(stopped at 5196).

Some big player is manipulating the US market straight after the close.....it was 50 points wide , and when Tokyo re-opened....it gaped up 200 points......I feel sorry for any one stopped out of a long DJ there as the market was nt real at all.....Thats why I do nt use stops anymore.....

I think right now we re in a another little abc ...that will probably retest the lows........Its  a Friday.......i ve made enough today for a McFlurry with sprinkles so its also 13 th !!!!   so ......to quote dragons den .....i m out except for eur/£😇

D J   BIG PICTURE    I THINK  ??  😕

The blue coloured ABC  is the big Correction....We are in the green ABC....related to the 2018 high....So we have a big 5 wave up swing to come.....To hit new highs and the top of my trombone......909135609_WallStreet_20200313_13_49.png.174b45e800a3e046e20872cbc2f69f2d.png

Still seems bearish to me, but I've not got any positions open 🤔

If that's a window close / gap fill then resumption of downtrend then it's bearish indeed, bonnie loon :(

If you are fed up chasing the INDX s   may I recommend £/€  ......Strong likelihood that 8940 is the top of  the bounce off the 8180 Boris bounce drop,   Nice Fib correction and good upside/downside......Sell here with stops above 9050.  but look for a drop back to 82 p as Italy goes **** up ...EUR_GBP_20200313_14_12.png.79f28af9d1795de88c6a42f0d6a2c5ec.png

why do you say that? just because the mayor of NYC declared a state of emergency, called in the National Guard and has penitentiary prisoners standing by to dig 50,000 emergency mass graves because there's been a death, what's there to cause fear?

    • I don't think it would be a problem trading during the weekend. You can trade whenever you want.  I learned how to do it on the cryptoinformator website. The highest income is brought by bitcoin. When looking at the value of the current 55,000 dollars, of course, everyone is thinking about investing in it. Forecasts vary, and many believe that by the end of 2021, they would have surpassed 100,000 dollars. The growth is projected to be based on the fact that real-world payment flow stock markets are still burdened by the current pandemic but is also based on the increasing acceptance of BTC as legal tender ( PayPal is bringing this option, and bitcoin is also coming to Wall Street soon).
    • I played around with it (created two plots of the smallest viable K-32 size). While I'm farming this tiny amount now I've stopped plotting until pooling is introduced - since existing plots aren't going to be compatible with pooling. The cost of wearing out SSDs is high. You're effectively buying (via SSD wear) lottery tickets (the plots) with a chance of winning a lottery (by farming). Without pooling its unlikely small players will win. The "estimated time to win" is based on current network space that will probably rise at a very quick rate reducing your chance of winning exponentially.  Unless you're farming petabytes, using the rule of large numbers to take out the lottery element, its not worth the time of smaller farmers imho. It may be worthwhile when they introduce pooling.
    • Yeah, you can trade whenever you want.
