ProRealtime custom indicators enhancement request

Good day,

Wouldn't it be great to have Buy and Sell Arrow Style types when designing your own indicators in ProRealTime?

Let me try to explain what I mean by that...

I develop a lot of my own/custom indicators in ProRealTime. As a lot of my indicators are designed to show buy or sell signals, I like to overlay them on a price chart, showing the Buy and Sell signals directly on the chart. But, as the options for returned variables are limited to line, histogram, points, line and points, and invisible, what I do is choose point and set the Width to the thickest line width. What this does is create a nice fat square on the chart. I then colour Buy signals green and Sell/Short Sell signals red. This works ok, but wouldn't it be great (and make more sense) if the standard PRT Buy and Sell Arrows were available as Style options?

The software already does this in a way with BackTests. When you run a backtest, it shows the entry and exit points using the (green) Buy and (red) Sell arrows.

Why not make this available to us also? Should be a simple enough (read quick) change.

Would appreciate some comments...

Hi Sferreir,

Thanks for your suggestion. The point (forgive the pun) you have made I can see would add value for other users, as it would be able to indicate signals in a more definitive fashion and would also be more aesthitcally pleasing.

I have contacted Pro Real Time on your behalf to find out if there is a way of doing so conventionally or by using code. Once they get back to me I will let you know.

Thanks again for sharing your idea!
