Stopped out on demo account - SL not met?

Hi,

I entered a trade yesterday before midnight.

My trade is no longer active, and I simply can't see why.

It's made on the demo account, and I'm not able to see past history on this account - so can't even see why this has happened.

Even an overnight fee shouldn't have stopped me out as far as I can see, and the SL at 8892 still haven't been met.

What am I missing? :/

Really hope that someone can help.

Tried to contact IG directly through their support page, but kept on telling me that I should login, even though I was logged in.

Kind regards,

Thomas

Hey - I've just tried to look into this, however the last trade I can see on the only IG account linked to this email address was on the 8th April. Do you have multiple sign ups via alternative emails? At present, given the above, I believe this is likely to be the reason.

Hi,

Appreciate the fast reply.

I haven't got any other accounts, - only one login where I access my CFD and Demo account.

Furthermore there is an CFD MT4 account, not being used though.

Last trade I did on the Demo account was on the 1st of May, where I took this screenshot.

I can of course provide you with the full screenshot directly if needed, not the cropped version.

Hope you can help me straighten this out :-)

Kind regards,

Thomas

Please can you give us a call using the numbers at the bottom of this page https://www.ig.com/dk as I can't see a trade based on the information you have given. I believe one of our sales traders would need to look into this and discuss things which can't be posted on a open forum.

Hi James,

Is there a case number that I might refer to, - so that they'll be aware of what's this all about - so that I won't have to submit screenshots etc. once again, or?

Kind regards,

Thomas

Hey  - there isn't a case number per say, but just direct them to here (IG Community >> IG Support >> IG Trading Support and Discussion >> Stopped out on demo account - SL not met?) or if you're emailing just send a link.

Hi,

Only contact e-mail that I can find is this:

newaccounts.dk@ig.com

I mailed them approximately one week ago, and I still haven't received a reply.

Could you help?

Kind regards,

Thomas

Hey - sorry about this. I just checked the email you sent but no additional information was added to assist in resolving this, so I have asked someone to call you with the number we have on file.

    • After joining in the space in the past few days, the crypto market is buzzing with excitement as the $APX token continues its uptrend after it listed at $0.04 just a few days ago, $APX has now surged to $0.09 (+24.41% in the last 24 hours). So, what makes $APX special? APX is a decentralized exchange (DEX) for crypto derivatives on BNB blockchain and Arbitrum, empowering users with good features like; Order book + on-chain perpetuals for versatile trading. Up to 1001x leverage, zero slippage, and competitive fees. Liquidity providers enjoy stablecoin-focused pools delivering the highest yields among perpetual trading platforms. $APX is a game changer, with my early adoption of the token and its continuations on the uptrend still definitely is a rare Gem worth adding to the portfolio, getting it on CEX (BingX) made it easier to trade on spot via its innovation zone. • Lately I’ve been following AIXBT by Virtuals for a bit, and I’m not gonna lie, it’s making me wonder about the direction AI is taking in the crypto space. Kinda seen a lot of hype around AI lately on X and different forums. So here’s my take, instead of just applying AI to the usual market analysis, AIXBT is talking about AI agents that could actually be co-owned and tokenized like digital assets that interact with games, social platforms, and even manage wallets. More findings in the whole co-ownership thingy, which is a great idea especially with the blockchain aspect. A lot of people are talking about how AI could help boost revenue across different platforms, but I’m still skeptical about how this will actually work in practice. These agents are supposed to be able to do things like pick up a sword in Roblox or interact on TikTok, but will they actually change the way users engage with digital spaces? Couple of top exchanges like BINGX already listed $AIXBT which is a big deal, imho as it’s gaining some real traction already.  Notwithstanding, still thinking if this is the future of digital assets, or is it just another trend that’s getting way too much hype?
