simple moving average

Recommended Posts

Hi

I am new here and this might sound a bit stupid, but I cant seem to find a SMA (simple moving average) indicator. Does this option not exist yet or am I looking at the wrong place?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Hi ,  presuming you are using the new platform the SMA is in the indicator dropdown box and just named 'moving average'  EMA is above in the list, so far these are the only two available but hopefully smoothed and linear weighted will be added.

But all else being equal (putting aside the trade issue) and given the overall good state of the US economy all the main indices should be drifting up out of this period of consolidation. But the big levels always matter and any breach takes some effort to undo and a drop below 12544 puts us back into a prior range whose bottom is indeed around 11800."
