Hi @Bernarde, good question. Firstly, CFD and SB's aren't investments, they are speculative so don't risk more than you can afford to lose. If you are new and learning the key figure is the contract/bet size, make it as small as the IG minimal allows, so that then, depending on the time frame you wish to use and therefore the stop size you will need, will dictate the size of account you will need. And don't forget to do the IG academy course in the education section.
