Set order times and dates

clarkeytrade

Question

Hi Everyone

I am new to this and still in demo mode. Is it possible on the IG platform web version to set a close time for an order? I can see you can set "good till cancelled" and a later time but some of the hours are greyed out on the same day. I would like to set orders with an end time on the sane day if possible.

Thanks in advance

Clarkey

Hi @clarkeytrade, not sure which platform or account type you are on but you should be able to switch between 'good til cancelled' GTC, and 'good til date' GTD. Check the GTD options.

Hi Caseynotes

Yes I can do that but I want to be able to set any specific time so that if the order hasnt happened the time will cancel it.
