Hi - I can confirm that you can only generate periods of 3 months for the downloadable reports. If you wish to have a longer timeframe please drop us an email (or let me know on here, along with the time frame you're looking at with exact dates and the account you're looking at) and I'll be able to generate a longer one for you.

hi James,

I have requested the reports from the local team (singapore)

But the reports provided are "closed" position trades!

I wanted to have reports "opened during"  and not reports "closed"

System can only produced 90 days periods for "opened during" option, and they told me to raise feedback on this matter.

I feel that it is improper not to provide details on my open positions as I have no clues of charges occurs.

I have attached the snapshot of my losses too,as I have no info on my charges to date,. ie: funding/browing/others etc.

My account number ***** (MOD EDIT: please remeber this is a public forum and you shouldn't post personal information online...)

Below snapshot are my requests :

NB: See created date from the snapshot.

Kindly help,thank you.

Cheers

Hi, the option to download trading statements only really makes sense for closed trades. If you downloaded a static statement which was exclusively open positions, as soon as the download was initiated it would be out of date and invalid. Further to this, you have all the position information in the screen in front of you already with the 'open positions' tab. Granted this isn't in excel or CSV format, but it still provides all that info.

If you are looking at costs and funding then you can see what those have been via the My IG portal which you can view in real time. You can see this at My IG > Live Account > Overview.

Hopefully this is the information you are wanting to see?

Hi, @JamesIG

Thank you for your prompt reply.

I still dont get info. that I wanted.

I tried to generate reports option that you provided but still no avail.

Funding options was not there on the open position tab:

hence If i liquidate it ,I have no idea the loss occurs that was not included for the total.

To date what is the funding amount that incurs to date on my open positions?

see snapshot which explained.

    • So US indices have been climbing higher (albeit a red day today). Trump needs the US stock market to blossom in order for him to say that it is a lot higher since he became US President.  So what happened to the wall he was going to build? This was one of the key pledges he was making during his election campaign. It is no different to Boris Johnson saying with confidence that the UK would leave the EU on 31st October 2019! There were even messages on the M1 (Motorway) in the UK inferring this.  POLITICAL SPIN and Marketing Wizardry at its best. Trump has focussed the media attention on the US-China Trade War to deflect from his broken promise so far.  Traders need to understand the fundamentals and how they work when it comes to politics and economics when trading not just US and UK indices but all major indices around the world. There were lots of stock market predictions being made about how it was going to see a big fall but this has not materialised. It may well do in 2020, I don't know, but never fight the trend until the bend at the end. Even then the bend can turn back again and continue which is what we have been witnessing with the US indices as politicians control the news flow, dictate the narrative and plot the course for stock markets.
    • One should treat trading like a business. In any successful business there would be a business plan. So for any successful trader there must be a trading plan.  There is a cheesy line but very true which is something like - failing to plan is a plan to fail.  Some of the best and most successful traders in the world will have and are more likely to have a trading plan. I would be surprised if they do not.  This trading plan can be an evolving plan which can be changed and adapted as situations change, knowledge improves, experience is gained, etc.
