Order entry window should have stop and limit points fields to the same number of decimal places as the instrument open level.

In the order (and trade) entry window the stop points and limit points fields are fixed at 1 decimal place.  If you trade an instrument like US 500 (SnP) then the price for this is quoted to 2 decimal places.  You can enter an order open level to 2 d.p.  but your stop and limit is limited to 1 decimal place.

There should be consistency between all the fields.

Hi

Thanks for the post.  On any deal ticket across our markets, the stop level can be entered either by number of points (to one decimal place) or as a monetary value, which is designed to give you a good level of accuracy.  Based on your feedback, we're going to look at introducing the option to set an absolute level for stops, which should allow you to enter the number of decimal places relevant to the market.

Let us know if you have any more questions about this!  if anyone else has feedback on how stops are entered, we'd be happy to hear it too.

Thanks,

Hannah
