Pro real order error in demo?

Question

Hi there. I'm curious if anyone else has the same problem as me and perhaps a solution or other information regarding this. In my DEMO account it is not possible the activate Pro Order in PRT. It's very frustrating as I would like to do some live testing of my code in the demo account before actually go with it on the Live account. PRT is enabled under settings in the DEMO account, but has no option to enable Pro Order like in LIVE account.

 

The Pro Order works perfectly in the PRT LIVE account- so no issue there.

 

I have raised this issue 3 times with IG helpdesk but at last they send it to IT-Finance, but they never got back, and Its been a week now.

I'm suffering from the same trying to activate my live CFD account for PRT. Demo works fine.

Server errorAn error occurred while activating ProRealTime. Please try later.

Hi @CharlotteIG - i have the opposite problem PRT enabled on demo account but i get a server error when i try to activate it on my live account - it says try again later but it has been a few days now so i presume it is not a maitanence issue

I suppose you meet the trading volume to get it for free on live account? 

Make sure you save the trading systems and custom indicators on disk from PRT demo

Yep all ok on that account. - have been saving systems etc as i noticed that you only get s short period of time with the demo - that is why i am keen to get it on live account :)

    • but there has been a mass of data already published that the lockdowns or masks have not had any affect in fighting Covid at all.
