I received the same email about the charts not working due to excessive demand and think it's simply not good enough for a company responsible for so much money. Seem to have charts not updating properly today unless I refresh the browser, but might just be incredibly slow trading..?

The question I have is why don't they at least send out a system wide notification that they are experiencing problems instead of us being left pulling our hair out while the market is violently moving and we either can't log in or cant access indicators?

Ah this is an absolute Joke now IG.............charts still defaulting and only a brief word from Charlotte on  the matter.

Deary deary me... what a shambles!

I got this eMail from them yesterday - have contacted them again today to ask why they don't want customers to trade on volatile markets.

Due to high traffic on the site we had to prioritise dealing over analysis.  In order to maintain good execution we disabled some of the chart analysis tools. We hope to enable it again after the UK market close but it will depend on platform traffic. Apologies for the inconvenience.

There you have it, IG disable the chart analysis tools themselves because they can't cope with the high traffic on the site.

IG trading platform status States that all systems are operational. This is completely untrue. Changes to analytics are still not being automatically saved.

The problem is back. And tech support have still not responded to my enquiry froim 2 days ago

IG Tech support PLEASE RESPOND

Here we are then almost 8 WEEKS on and the issues with charts in L2 Dealer are still here. CV-19 or not this is **** service. You've found time to rewrite the software so that the application looks as though it was designed by fisher price but still not bothered to fix the issue with charts or bother to explain why you cant

    • Volume profile, depth of market, orderbook, VWAP, VPVR, VPSV... all the basic things needed which for some reason are disabled.. seems odd that you don't want your clients to see this information? Even FXCM, OANDA, Pepperstone, ICmarkets, FXPRO & many more not listed all allow you to see this and have access to this vital information. ProRealTime v11.. It's about 2 years overdue now... frustrating not only having out of date features but more so when trying to back test things as it's limited on v10.3 to a maximum of 100k units.. that means with every day passing, I lose a day's worth of data.. PRT v11 allows you to have 1m unit backtest.. Also.. Custom, multiple take profits.. allow me to set a desired amount, for example.. ** points or **% at 10 pips away from entry ** points or **% at 20 pips away from entry ** points or **% at 30 pips away from entry ** points or **% at 40 pips away from entry.. Have a look at cTrader.. they do a perfect example of this, in advanced take profit section.
