Oil overnight swap rates

I kept a buy position on USOIL - the lot size was 0.25.

Next day I find a charge of around 25 USD as interest. That is too much. I have seen recently that interests on other pairs have also been skewed against me.

Is this normal? Other brokers are offering better interest rates.

hi, you may have missed the date of the post you are relying to, end of March the swap rate was extraordinarily high for all brokers, for today's rate  see the daily dashboard thread.

    • oh, Canadian Health Official  ''none of this is really based on science'' shock 🤣 as if we didn't already realise.
    • you are forgetting I don't give a **** what you think, the data is there, if you don't like it prove it wrong (I mean really, not some pedantic BS), I already showed you how to go about it but once again for the hard of thinking, go to the relevant ONS stats site, download the data and check the data points from the chart, it really is that simple. Constant bleating is no match for the ton of actual data produced, trying to find tiny cracks won't change anything, and pretending to be a 'fact checker' is just laughable.
    • Hi, just wondering if anyone at IG might be able to advise on this. Just checking through the available markets in IG share dealing - Hong Kong, Japan, Canada are noticeably absent as available countries. Is that coverage something IG might be able to offer in the future? I see the ADR/DR lines of some of those overseas stocks are offered, as they're listed on NYSE, Xetra, but none of the native stocks. There are some upcoming floats of interest: - PSYK ETF listing on NEO in Canada - Didi Chuxing potential IPO on HK exchange Thanks for any info.
