Viewing past IG Live Charting Today videos

Recommended Posts

Hi - I'm new to IG. Been trying a little trading and enjoying the "Live" video clips on the trading platform.

I missed this mornings Charting video that comes out at 10:30. Any idea how I can view "old" videos?

Thanks

Hey @spencerfrater

You can find them on the community:

Thanks @CharlotteIG

Another question - I recall stumbling upon a graphical summary (red/blue circles) of IG investors' long / short positions but now cannot find this. Please could you tell me how to find that?! Thanks.

Hi, if you are logged into the IG web site just type in the asset name into the search box on the left side of the welcome page and select the asset should take you to the asset details page with the IG client short/long %.

that just gives me the chart...?

either you are not logged in or IG doesn't provide the data for that particular asset.

@Caseynotes thanks for bearing with me. I'm logged in to the platform where I can trade. I'm entering the market in the top left search box. But then I'm getting the chart and ability to deal. Where do i look to click..?  (sorry for being a complete numpty)

Thanks @Caseynotes. How do I get to that page from the platform though..? (Or do I need to go back to Google?)

yeah, once logged in just open the IG welcome page again in a new browser page.

But is there not a way to see this whilst I'm trading in the platform...?  Seems a bit cumbersome to have to go back to google... there must be a short cut from the platform?

    • My brain isn't working properly any more
    • I would says so, unless you are dealing with short time frames and large sums of money and you are able to be glued to the screen 100% of the time and give it your full attention.
    • So that's a bearish candle, after an up move that's running out of steam (with small read bodies and long legs), falling back down towards established Fibonacci levels, with a MACD crossing from above 0 and RSI below 50     At one point I had the RSI set to 9, and that additionally gives an overbought divergence (price goes higher but RSI doesn't).  This also gives a nice oversold indication when the move down is coming to an end
