Trying to buy a stock but the price on order is incorrectly calculated

Hi, 

I am putting 2 GBP and 100 shares, and the total cost is 10 GBP. That doesn't look right. Please, can you look into this? Thanks.

Hi, not sure what stock you are looking at but are you sure it's listed in £ and not pence? Stocks on the LSE are in pence (US markets are in $). If your limit order is for 2 pence x quantity 100 then £2 plus £8 charges = £10.

I've been going a year and still get confused.

Note that 'GBX' is pence and 'GBP' is pounds.
