Hi,

I'd also like to understand this. The weekly option expiring 17/04/20 I bought appears to have the same expiry time, however the market closed at 10am, even though the price of the underlying is still changing and my returns with it.

EDIT: okay I guess that answers this, options appear to have expired and been settled at 10:30

Just bought an overnight put option expiring the 17th April on my CFD Account. Please can somebody confirm the exact time it expires ?

Hi, on the asset chart just above the deal/order ticket there is a small i icon for information that gives the date and time of the futures contract expiry.

Thanks Casey. Could I ask one more question, is the option value finalised when the underlying (in this case market) indicated trading stops, or when the position closes? On the FTSE there's a c30m period where you can't close the option but the price appears to change (bulk trade period by the look of it).

Hi, afraid I don't know the answer, I don't trade them myself, hopefully someone who does will chime in.
