Thanks for responding. When I check the transaction history it seems to have deducted £10. However, I am still seeing these charges. Its the next month (May) I bought 5 USA stocks last month (April) but I still see this charge quoted when I try to purchase.

I think I read somewhere this is a bug and you do actually get the £10 refunded but want to confirm this is the case before I make any further stock transactions.2051687981_Screenshot2020-05-01at00_55_44.png.be73c613d521c78131f5cc14efb83a26.png

Please ignore the second screenshot (vodafone) I dont know why I cant remove it.

There was an issue applying the new fees to clients accounts. If you were eligable for the new reduced commission rates we will be refunding the amounts back to your IG account.

Apologies for the inconvenience

Dear IG,

After buying 3 American stocks for £1000 each....It seems to have cost my account £100 to do so? I appreciate £10 per trade, plus 0.5% conversion fee, but surely that should only add up to £45 30 (10 +10 +10 commission) plus £15 (being 0.5% of £3000)?

What am I missing here? Am I also being charged £15 per share for exchange? Or am I just suffering exchange rate? If so how can I find out the daily exchange rate for buying US shares with GBP?

Many thanks

James

Hi Guys

This is in my ISA account. Can someone explain this please? I seem to have lost quite a lot over what exactly? Currency conversion? I should be +$21 instead I am £13 down over the two transactions. How come?

Can someone confirm when the qualifying month starts ie 1st September.

I joined on the 24th September and currently waiting for my Isa to transfer over.

So does the first month start on the day I joined or 1st of every month or do I have just 3 days to trade 3 shares

For the rest of us, it’s been a game of watching and deciding when to jump in. The chart has been showing strong momentum after its initial surge, with $XION holding steady around key levels. The question now is whether this is the calm before another leg up or just a consolidation phase before it cools off. Honestly, I could see it going either way, but there’s no denying the project has solid fundamentals backing the hype. What makes $XION interesting isn’t just the price action. It’s the tech, features like meta accounts and abstracted interoperability aren’t just for show. They solve real problems in blockchain usability, which could be a big deal as more people start exploring crypto beyond just trading. I personally picked up a small bag on BingX after missing the testnet. It’s been my go-to platform lately for finding promising projects like $XION, and the experience has been seamless. Short term, I’m keeping an eye on how it reacts to current support levels. If it breaks higher, I wouldn’t be surprised to see it retest new highs. But as always, patience is key. For those who got in early, whether during the testnet or the initial dips. you’re probably sitting in a good spot right now. Where do you see $XION heading next? Are we gearing up for another leg up, or is this where it settles for a while?
    • By the way @AshishIG I understood from one of the PCMs in SG that physical shares plus tasty trade products are coming to Singapore but wasn't given a timeline. Are you able to confirm?
