  1. Hi, market depth data was only added to the web based platform a year or so ago, previously was only on the DMA platform. When IG started the rollout they said it would be gradual and initially there were only a few stocks that had it. Maybe @CharlotteIG can check and update as it is an important feature.

  2. Is it possible to specify the date format used in MyIG? I have not been able to find a setting to control this. Currently, if I look at MyIG > Statements, they appear to be listed in AU date format: dd/mm/yyyy If I look at MyIG > Hstory > Transactions, thay are in a slightly different AU format: d/m/yy If I look at MyIG > History > Proft/Loss Breakdown, they are in a US format: m/dd/yyyy I am in Australia, and the US format can be extremely confusing, especially when used alongside the AU format in the same platform! I really think IG should be using

  3. Hello, I have some questions about buying SPAC units and splitting them into common shares and warrants on IG. How do I split the units, do I ring or will I be notified? How much does it cost to split units into commons and warrants? I have a share dealing account, will the warrants and commons be separated and show up on my account as such? How long does this process take? Thank you for your answers. Lewis.

  7. Recently saw an IG-authored article in the 'IPO Trading' section referring to getting into the Brewdog IPO via IG and its 'Grey Market / Pre-IPO' section. Does anyone (ie client or staff) know whether IG clients can actually buy into Coinbase ahead of it's IPO (technically its 'DPO') - although I understand that no date has yet been announced, but seemingly very imminent. I've been looking around the system on my account and can't see any obvious routes. Cheers

Hi @CharlotteIG Please would it be possible for you to take a look at the below three listings on the NYSE/Nasdaq to be added to share dealing or any other account type, namely: Soaring eagle aquisition corp (SRNGU) Spartan aquisition corp 3 (SPAQ.U) Liberty media aquisition corp. (LMACU) Please see attached screenshots of the equities in question for your information. Many thanks LJ

  9. Hi, shares bought through IG are registered in CHESS. IG uses the Custodian model because it allows for electronic share trading instead of paper share trading, also see below, and as Charlotte said in the thread she will reply after liaising with IG au on Monday.

  10. Hi Charrlotte, for some reason my application keeps getting rejected. What is it exactly that I'm missing? Aren't there systems in place from preventing me from trading any further than what I can afford? Yet I'm still not allowed to trade with CFD's??

  11. Hi Charlotte, Thanks for your response. I have a suggestion of an easy way to implement this. Step 1: The grid is painted after applying any user filters. (This happens now) Step 2: The sort feature is provided on the column header label "%change" (say like a hyperlink) Step 3: On selecting the column header the sorting is done on the already retrieved records in the grid, like you are rearranging them.

  13. Forgive me if this is published somewhere but couldn't find any reference to it. Although IG do not allow me to borrow shares to open a short position in my share dealing account do they lend my shares to other brokers or market makers for shorting? Theoretically they could and would be an additional revenue stream for them.
