So it's been nine days since I was advised to start the account all over again. I have submitted my documents, but still they haven't been verified. Is this usual to take so long?

Brand new member. I'm trying to activate a live account, but made a mistake and trying to rectify. Emailed and no response. Tried live chat (when it appears on the site) and was disconnected after being promised a phone call. Tried to call myself but gave up after 15 minutes. Any other ideas?
