    In the UK you can trade US stocks. You will need to complete a W-8BEN form (5 minutes) from My IG > Settings > Dealing US stock :

    HI lain,

    To change the background colour on a Ipad, you will need to go to the Ipad Settings > Display & Brightness and select Light or Dark. The IG App will automatically match that setting.

    When selling equities on a share trading account, there is a 'settlement period' of 2 or 3 days before your funds become available to withdraw.

    Hi @baltimix,

    The Demo account simulate a CFD account. On a share trading account you can't add a Stop Loss

    You can see Order type : Quote  or Limit Order because the market is closed at the moment ( on the screenshot), Once the market is live you will have more options.

    Hi all, as guests we are unable to bring up your accounts to assist you. I would recommend to reach out directly to our helpdesk or account opening team via email to follow up on your applications. 

    Once you submit a document it goes in a queue for the account opening team to review. They are doing their best to review your documents and open your account in a timely manner.

    Hi @jjkrishnan10,

    You can withdraw you funds when you wish to do so, you can also withdraw 100% of your available balance.
    Please keep in mind that if you have open orders some funds will be put aside to execute the order. You can just cancel the order to have these funds available to withdraw.

    Additionally, depending which method you use to deposit and withdraw we might ask you to verify your card or Bank account. This will be the case if you use 2 different methods.

    HI @rieckstudio,

    You can change your settings from " Instant Conversion" ( meaning automatically converting back to your main currency AUD)  to " Manual Conversion" ( Allowing you to hold USD and convert back to AUD when you like). You can change from My IG > Live account > Currency conversion > Select > Save Changes:



    ⚠️Please keep in mind that changing to Manual conversion will change the commissions on your share dealing account: 

    Meaning you won't have free commission on US stocks. You will be able to use the USD you hold to purchase more US stocks.

    About 3 weeks ago this communication went out:
    "Due to a change in the exchange’s market data policy, we won’t be able to provide free live spread betting prices on Swedish, Danish or Finnish shares from 2 August 2021. Delayed prices will also not be available.

    Should you wish to continue receiving realtime exchange prices, you can opt to pay for them by logging in to our desktop site, clicking on the ‘settings’ tab in My IG and selecting ‘data feeds’ from the menu. If you place at least one trade per calendar month, you will be rebated the exchange fee at the end of the month.

    If you choose not to opt-in for live data feeds, you’ll no longer receive any prices for Swedish, Danish or Finnish stocks."

    You can find the OMX feed in Settings > Data feeds > Spread bet:

    The issue on chart has been raised to the IT department. It is only on the Demo account. On the live account the chart won't show the off market hours.
    This issue should be fixed shortly.
