Hi, two questions..... 1.Is it possible to short stocks (in the CFD or spreadbetting function) and use your own stocks from your share dealing portfolio as collateral? 2. Does IG use customers stock positions to open up their own shorts? or lend shares to 3rd parties for shorting? And if so, is the owner of those stocks entitled to a percentage of the profits from others shorting them?
