  1. Is there a website for this? NO 😜 it's from a investment management company that put out 'tasters' of their research on twitter from time to time. of course you could always close your IG account and give them all your money instead 😮
  2. hi, crossing the neckline is confirmation and the trigger for trade entry, the question is where do you draw it, should it be horizontal from the first dip between the first shoulder and head or diagonal across both dips. http://thepatternsite.com/hst.html
  3. Hi, check your PRT time zones and market hours. IG have different hours for different markets but I've not seen a list so you'll need to look at each in turn, some close at 10pm while others close and restart at midnight.
  4. Current relative strength rankings as of yesterday. h/t to Adaptiv.

    GOLD

    January a strong month for Gold, 7 positive Jans over the last 10 years but the early burst this year means Gold is already at the monthly average. h/t to Chris Weston.
  6. Strong bull yesterday for Dow and a strong start this morning as well, heading back up towards the all time high. Dax still some work to do to reclaim Friday's losses and Ftse also starting the day strongly. Daily charts;
  7. US Indices creeping back up to the highs, Bonds, Oil and Gold down. EU CPI and retail sales at 10am. US ISM services PMI at 3pm 54.5 expected up from 53.9 previous.
  8. Both a beat on expectations; Services 52.8 (est 52.2) Composite 52.7 (est 52.2)
  9. Interesting video on reviewing your journal and so therefore shows the benefits of journaling in the first place. Demonstrates identifying problems early and taking steps to correct them before they damage your account. It uses the Edgewonk journal which is a paid for journal, I'm not pushing edgewonk but rather pushing the advantages of using journals and what a time saver they really are. There are 2 basic free journals linked in this thread if you have a look through, anything is better than nothing.
  10. no need to guess, the chart will be obvious because 'buy the dip' will have stopped working, but looking at that chart above it would have done you proud up til now and still hasn't actually failed as yet.
  11. Just realised I linked back to the same thread, more on HIN and SRN numbers in this thread;
  12. that's quite possible, often happens before the US open.
  13. not only not selling but that's what you call 'buying the dip' 🥳🥳🥳
  14. ah, you edited your post after I had replied, I would be wary of staying in short for too long during any retracement especially around these levels which is essentially the bottom of a consolidation period in what is still a bull market.
  15. with a chart that looks like that why wouldn't I be going short already? 🤨
  16. Hi, click on the MA box to bring up the edit function, see pic
  17. Cricky, that takes me back a bit.
  18. David Kurten @davidkurten 14h Australian firefighters slam climate alarmists and 'green tape' for preventing back-burning which would have prevented the now huge bushfires. I'll believe Australian firefighters over a Swedish NWO puppet-child any day of the week. https://volunteerfirefighters.org.au/green-tape-prevents-volunteer-rural-firefighters-reducing-bushfire-risk
  19. Actually, speaking of AMD this chart popped up a number of times last week with the tag 'is this bubble number 3?'
  20. that's coz you keep listening to the er 'wrong' (using a polite word) people.
  21. Dow and Dax trying to hang onto their respective daily chart support levels (orange). Which way will the big players take this this week now they are all back at their desks could set the tone for the whole first quarter. Daily charts with weekly pivots;
  22. Indices down, Bonds, Oil and Gold up. Markit services PMIs for UK, Ger, EU and US today, the more important ISM US services PMI tomorrow.
