FYI - I was able to close the position by setting the Epic and not the DealId value. For now I will simply do that instead of DealId but it would be good to understand why this does not work with the DealId. If anybody else finds this here is how it worked for me with just using the Epic. Set: Epic (same as the open position) Expiry Direction: SELL (my open position was a BUY so must be opposing value) Deal Size Order Type With the above set this works. You should get a 200 status returned and a dealReference that matches your original open order.

Hi, Is anybody else getting this error using the Companion API on demo accounts when using the /positions/otc DELETE (version: 1) I've tried most things including all the help listed in this other thread: As per the very last reply this should work but I get the above error on both the Companion API and via my own app so not sure what the issue is. Hi, I would like to be able to add 2 x MACD indicators to the same chart with differing settings. Is this possible? Currently the adding of indicators is via a checklist selection so clicking again just turns off the indicator. Can we have a way to add multiple of the same type or am I missing a setting? Stephen.
