  1. Hi all, I know it's an old thread but here's something a little bit more surprising lol. I'm guessing the algorithm used by the trading system or at the brokers end has a tiny bit of an error so it goes wild occasionally ? I've seen it go lower than this before but this 720 with a .2400 calculation just had to be shared, it made me laugh anyway. An hour later it's calmed down to the apparent default of 300 others have seen here, but it covers all trades on both CFD and spead. The pain with this though is that it means I couldn't offset against a trade running already and it's gone over 100 in the wrong direction 🙄. Well I just wanted to share what I'd seen, it won't be a problem 😁
  2. Hi, as a new trader I'm surprised at seeing no replies to this alerts problem. In my own case I just want to clarify the details though: Trades/orders started or ended keep on appearing at random even hours after the event happened, so I never know just which trade it's telling me about (I trade fast so even it behaves properly I expect to see several notifications a minute, but this is more than doubling the messages!). I've tried Android, Windows, Linux, Chrome, Firefox, Opera and several nobody ever heard of 😉 So what's the answer anybody? Clearing cache, cookies, wheelie bin outside, even reinstalling browsers makes no difference. Often it still shows Orders as running when they were closed ages ago - If i try to close them a 2nd time to clear my display it says "An Error Has Happened - Please Phone blah blah number" lol. I've no viruses (on 7 different computers I'm using/testing), no blockers, nothing strange installed. Even tried portable browsers. Is anybody else getting this? They must be somewhere 😕 The only way to reset what it's doing is to keep signing out and back in, but it'll do it again soon, been going on for weeks like this. Another thing is it can't be ignored - the notification box appears right over the Close Trade button, and if you move the mouse pointer over to anywhere on the screen up there (top-right) the messages reappear again fofl 😢 Items Used To Test: Windows 7, 8.1, 10 and 11. Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Monument, Search, Ecosia, and others. Android 4.2, 4.4, 5, 6, 7 and 10 Linux DSL, Fedora, Opensuse, Ubunto, Knoppix, Slim, Debian (you can probably tell I was a programmer for decades 😛 )
  3. Hi to anybody who finds this old question. I'm new here, and to trading in general. I found this question as I needed to have my chart screens stop shuffling around and resizing - it's been driving me crazy. I don't have any perfect answer (yet) but I did find this so far: Charts like to auto resize top to bottom often when I trade fast (scalping) which was too distracting. To stop that I found you need to resize the height of the chart - move your mouse point to anywhere on the far right where the current levels are shown. Hold your left button down (on a laptop) or press/hold the screen (on anything with touchscreen) and move up or down - you only need to move it a tiny bit and it shuts off the height resizing activity. The whole chart will still move up and down automatically as levels change, but it 'should' stop stretching like crazy. If you make any other changes like zooming in/out or jumping to latest level (the icon to the right of the zoom buttons), or changing times/dates you'll need to do this resize thing again, but for me it's mad a huge difference as I couldn't concentrate with it bouncing around. I also found it matters what type o device you're using (that may be very common knowledge to others but I didn't know it). Touch screen android devices behave very differently to Windows (any versions), and browsers also do things differently. I use both android and Windows, with Firefox Portable on Windows XP & 7 and Search browser on android. I know Chrome is the recommended browser, but I find Firefox Portable so much faster and friendly. Anyway, I've typed too much now, I hope the info above helps somebody in some way. Regards to all, and happy trading !
