Thank you for that explanation it, makes sense......so its how a broker/dealer sets up his platform?.... in other words IG could make it possible if they wanted to...as a punter, I dont care where the order is stored, as long as it is noted and released into the market at open...I generally do my "thinking" after the market has closed assessing the day's price action on my open positions etc and plan the next days move/s...so to be able to place or alter existing Limit orders outside market hours is really helpful (to me) Anyhow JohnnyRy thanks again for your reply

Other online platforms I have used allow Limit orders or indeed change existing Limit orders after market has closed....doesn't seem possible in IG...any ideas?

I'm new to IG I have multiple open positions in the one stock Currently IG average the prices and show that number on the chart I like to see when and where I bought ...is it possible to show each open position on the chart?

I am new to IG RE The OHLC Data screen that is attached to the curser I know how to remove it from a chart But is it possible to remove it "globally"...ie so that it is not present every time I open a chart....but can be opened manually if needed There doesn't seem to be a "preferences'" tab in the platform where normally these things are sorted

I am new to IG In my Workspace I have Positions, Orders and a Chart Each time I click on a different Position it opens a new chart over the top of the existing one is there a way to connect/link the Chart to the list of Positions/watchlist so that each time I click on another position...the same chart changes Hoping you have a solution Thanks
