Commission and Spread

I am interested to trade with IG but what I found that the commission on shares and the leverage and margin on FX is absolutely unbelievable!!! If you make a trade with ex. Tesla and you got 1 dollar ; you have to pay 28 dollar as commission and spread on that trade which means don't do it !! I need suggestions , please.
