DXY Volume in line with futures volume?

Hi, which contract is being used to display the volume for the dollar index? How do you guys roll the contract. For example we are currently in March but the roll already started a couple of days ago. How is IG determining which contract to use for the volume? Volume doesn't seem to be in line with June contract at IBKR. BR
