When the Hunter Douglas NV shares experienced a squeeze-out and de-listed I was surprised to learn that IG would not trade them anymore (maybe I should have done better research) but IG did not warn me. Surely as safe custodians of a share, they have a duty of care to give final warnings that they will not continue a service? Now they are stuck until I try to sell them OTC. To do that I have to find a new broker, anyone know a good one that trades them? IG want paying to turn them into a certificate and send it but a transfer may be free I believe.
