Transferring funds out of IG whilst maintaining their ISA status

I am proposing to use some of my IG ISA funds to invest in a cash ISA provided by another company. The money held in my IG account is in an ISA and I wish to maintain that status with the other company. Is there a problem in doing this? Do I simply ask the other company to contact IG and make the arrangement?
