IG has circa 180,000 clients but we don't even have 18 regular posters on this forum.

Are these kinds of posts for real?
  3. I closed out without a loss. At least I made 60p interest per day while my position was open. I closed because I just saw that today is oil inventories day! Zut alors, I have not been doing my homework.
  4. What do you understand by TA? From what I understand of TA, you are using it every day (so am I). Just because you don't use EWP doesn't mean you're not using TA. MAs, S/R, pivots, patterns and candle sticks are all TA ...
  5. Donald Trump 🙄 https://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-global-markets/stocks-dip-as-china-slowdown-deepens-german-economy-weak-idUKKBN1XO025
  6. Yes indeed. Isn't that what Thatcher wanted?
  7. Serge also cautioned about Apple in a previous video, but look.

I decided to stop trading on shorter time frames until I got better at inter-day trading, but this would have been an excellent one to day trade. Everything just aligns perfectly - the candle stick patterns, volume, moves below the MAs, the RSI rising above 30.
  9. Haven't heard from @Foxy for a while. Where's @DSchenk and @nit2wynit ?

Strange things going on. Looks like a 'key reversal day' with a lower low but a close above the previous day's high. Great gyrations!
  12. Apparently rising healthcare costs are a good thing for the American economy (i.e. the big profiteering healthcare companies that price gouge patients with expensive drugs and treatments). You've got to love Anglo-Saxon capitalism. https://uk.reuters.com/article/us-usa-economy/rising-healthcare-costs-power-u-s-consumer-inflation-idUKKBN1XN1US

Here comes the bouncy-bouncy! If it starts to fall again after hitting that level then I would say it's heading back down again. I've no idea why this is so from a fundamental level, something to do with M&S poor clothes sales?

  15. Here we go again ... 'trade hopes fade' etc.

  17. Went in short again because why not?
  18. When/if this happens we will all have far worse things to worry about than stock prices. You can already see uprisings and social unrest all over the world, and this will get much worse. Socialism and fascism will arise from the dead.
  19. There were a few people on here who had success trading. One guy said he made thousands using Bollinger bands. I do wonder where they are now and if they managed to remain successful over the long term.
