    Ocado

I've decided to take profit at 1200 as the price is pulling back and I think it's a good idea to wait to see what happens tomorrow. Hope I don't miss out 🙈
  2. Getting some nice pullback in the share price this morning. Long may it continue! 😆
  3. Strongly bullish weekly signal. I'm now looking to get out and maybe consider going long if it breaks the high. Lessons learned * Wait for stronger signals on the weekly and monthly charts!!! * Remember to check company announcements - d'oh! I did not realize they had a trading release this week.
  4. This now actually looks like a potential for going long.
  5. Ouch! Looks like it might actually be a better idea to go long at this point. Let's see what happens tomorrow, and if it breaks 635. 😱

    Ocado

It looks good for Ocado but the volume is still quite small. Well, price is number 1.
  7. Wasn't one of my best ideas! I got stopped out today. Will still keep an eye on it and see where it goes from here. It still seems to be in a downtrend.
  8. Weekly timeframe definitely suggests that we've seen a peak top for now ... fingers crossed!
  9. I have a feeling that today will be particularly important, there is a wee doji forming! 🙈😁 We may go back up above 602 and start trading in the upper range again.
  10. I haven't done any backtesting yet, hence all the wavering. I see that backtesting is possible in PRT so I need to spend time learning how to do it.
  11. I'm glad I wasn't short on Red Hat when IBM made an out-of-hours announcement that they were going to buy them ... I'm also glad I wasn't a 'professional' client of IG's, as I would be in a lot of debt to them. (Seems like a high price to pay for a small reduction in margin requirement ...)
  12. Right now it looks like it's moved too far away from its 50 MA
  13. I have two Fib ratios, 1396 and 1370, have been wavering which one I'd like to buy at. Settled for 1370. Need a decent pullback after such a run!
  14. Volume is picking up on the downside again. Might be a good short now.

    Ocado

Clearly still a lot of selling interest here. 😱😲
  16. I'm not totally stupid as I can clearly see the opportunities even when overall the index is going sideways, it's always just easier to spot after it's already happened. Here the Nasdaq had a triple crossover (current price < 5 MA < 20 MA < 50MA) and it was confirmed with volume (crucial), and the RSA even gave a timely signal to cover short. Happy days! Unfortunately I didn't trade it
  17. I'll be updating regularly on this one too as I committed
  18. Looks like it is in a 2+ year down channel and a potential candidate for shorting, now below the 200 day / 40 week SMA.
  19. It looks like it's trading in a range, but a range that is 'one leg lower' than the previous range, which was 602 - 640 or so. Now it looks like it will trade a range of 569 - 600.

I don't see any reason to 'target 1200 - 1250', so let's see if we can re-test the high at 1435 or beyond. I will move my stop to break-even when/if the chance comes and then let Ocado's price go and do its thing ...
  21. The best indicator of whether to buy or sell seems to be the 200-day SMA in this case. 😁
  22. Here's a good example of why you shouldn't buy low-volume 'breakouts':
