  1. Maybe we should buy instead. Isn't technical analysis fun? 😘
  2. Well, this is the state of play of our short on the DAX.
  3. How many of you traders have averaged 10% per year over 5 or 10 years? *silence*
  4. The closest thing Tom has to a 'secret sauce' is last night's tomato ketchup dribbled on his dirty old jumper.
  5. Oh dear, the globalists have made Tom grumpy again. 😢
  6. Maybe Tom can step in with one of his 15 minute charts and help us all make sense of it
  7. you're welcome Andrew. I do hope you make >17.1% a year over 5 - 10 years BTW. I just know that nobody reading this will be able to do it by trading.
  8. Nothing to see here folks. Except more posts about 'globalists'. Don't worry, I'll be sticking around for a long time to come unless Charlotte bans me.
  9. I think Andrew is in denial, and can't answer the question because he feels it would negatively impact his manhood and credibility. Poor Andrew. 😢
  10. My claims (that the S&P 500 index does better than almost all traders and that most retail traders lose money whether they're long or short) are 'false' apparently, even although it says at the top of this page that 76% of them lost money in the last year and also this: https://www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/etf/snapshot/snapshot.aspx?id=0P0000WA5P
  11. Has Andrew traded better than 17.1% for five years straight?
  12. What returns have you had from 5+ years trading? Have you outperformed the S&P 500 index? My 'claims' aren't fake, take a look here: https://www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/etf/snapshot/snapshot.aspx?id=0P0000WA5P 5 Years Annualised 17.1
  13. All the data used to calculate this is provided publicly: https://dqydj.com/sp-500-return-calculator/ Something that none of these traders will ever show you. Because they ain't got sh!t to show
  14. I just want to thank you for all the value you add, Tom, from the bottom of my heart.
  15. This is a rhetorical question, because almost no retail trader outperforms the S&P 500 over such a long period. But hey, at least they can rationalize losing money trading as part of their 'education' and 'trading experience'
  16. How many of IG's retail traders have beaten the S&P 500 ETF over a period of ten years?
  17. Looks like a buy. 1) Hammer-like rejection of 61.8% retracement 2) Above all three SMAs 3) Entering positive momentum with the MACD 4) No RSI discrepancies Put your stop beneath the 61.8% level and shoot for the moon. Don't forget to send me a cut of your profits.
  18. Oh, so you haven't been consistently profitable over a period of five years. Never mind then. You're just another BSer. I've seen hundreds of 'wise traders' who aren't actually making any money.
  19. The arrow shows where you should have entered the trade, but if you're asleep or doing something else - tough t!ts. What you going to do about it, except sit out the entire move? Another reason why buy and hold is simpler and more effective
  20. I also had a >1 return at one point this year in my trade analytics. Come back and show me a >1 return over a period of five years or more and I'll be impressed.
  21. Short the DAX this morning! Stop and TP are display on the chart.
  22. Look, a bearish pennant! What more evidence do you need!
